Kendra Cunningham

Kendra Cunningham is a comedic writer, filmmaker, stand up comedian, actress and award-winning screenwriter. As a comedian, you've seen her on Last Comic Standing, at Just For Laughs, her Dry Bar Special and her latest work Meatball Therapy as well as dozens of comedy festivals both nationally and internationally. 

She has starred in and written several web-series including:
lonelygirl48, Boston Beat, The Dawns, I’m Not Buying It, Why’s Everybody Always Hitting on Me? and her personal favorite,  Kitty- a mock talk show host. Kendra has won best comedy screenplay in the Flickers Film Festival and best comedy short in the Boston Comedy Festival.  

Her solo show "This Could Be You" is inspired by her reluctant attendance to her estranged father’s wake. It’s a comedic story about family and emotional wounds.  “Bold and revealing, a smart funny lady” Myra Chanin, Theater Pizzazz 

Boston bred and Brooklyn based, Kendra Cunningham has been named as a comic to watch by Time Out New York and has been compared to Groucho Marx and Mae West by the UK's Chortle. A regular on the New York and Boston comedy scene, she has previously been in the Montreal Just for Laughs Festival, The Glasgow Comedy Festival, and was a finalist in the Boston Comedy Festival for two years in a row. She has twice appeared on NBC's Last Comic Standing gaining two spots in the top 100 jokes of the season.
